Binary Code Weight Spread: Rules and Demo

The official website of k8.

This independent guide presents Binary Code Weight Spread, a game based on binary code properties rather than traditional slot reels. The demo operates with a virtual wallet and does not require an account login or external payment gateway.

The core mechanic involves twelve fair bits forming four three-bit vectors. These vectors generate a binary code through their GF(2) span. The game's reward is determined by the difference between the maximum and minimum nonzero codeword Hamming weights. If the code contains only zeros, the reward is zero.

Scoring and Settlement

Independent fair switches are revealed in row-major edge or matrix order. The live gross quote is calculated as 0.97 times the conditional expected terminal reward, divided by its initial expected reward. This quote may rise or fall during the round.

  • Zero Quote: Ends the round immediately.
  • Positive Final Quote: Settles automatically at the finite trace cap.
  • Manual Collection: Available after the first reveal.

The 3% opening deduction appears only once in the quote. Every policy using only revealed information has a 97% expected gross return.

Controls and Auto Modes

You may select one active stake of 10, 20, 50, or 100 virtual coins. Busy settings and refill locks are active during play.

Auto-collect thresholds settle the actual full first-crossing quote before later zero events. If a threshold is unreachable, the system waits for the terminal result. The available auto thresholds are:

  • Off
  • 1.2
  • 2
  • 3
  • 5

Manual collection is permitted only after at least one reveal has occurred.

Payout and Gross Returns

Displayed multipliers represent gross coin returns, not profit. The actual payout math is recorded in the source-bound mathematical evidence.

Wallet and Persistence

The demo uses a local virtual wallet. An idle balance below 10 may be manually restored to exactly 1000, with fractional change preserved. This restoration sets the balance; it does not add coins or trigger automatic replenishment.

  • Fractional Carry: Persists through settlement, manual refill, and reload.
  • Unfinished Rounds: Reloading the page ends an unfinished round without refund or resume.
  • Storage: Game source uses localStorage for settled balance and fractional carry.

Privacy and Identity

This demo has no account login flow or payment flow. The absence of account controls does not prove that no personal data are processed. Template declarations include Google Fonts stylesheet requests, but full-site network capture remains pending.

The 18+ label indicates this guide's intended audience policy; it is not a universal legal age or an implemented age gate. Clearing cached files may leave local storage intact.

Responsible Use

Responsible-use pages in this guide describe optional pauses, a personal time or virtual-coin limit, and finding appropriate local qualified help. The demo does not clinically train behavior or make losses safe. There are no account-level blocking, timer, or self-exclusion tools in this interface.

Frequently asked questions

How is the reward calculated?

Twelve fair bits form four three-bit vectors. Their GF(2) span creates a binary code. The reward is the maximum nonzero codeword Hamming weight minus the minimum nonzero codeword weight. If the code is zero-only, the reward is zero.

What happens if I reload the page?

An unfinished round ends without refund or resume. The settled balance, including any fractional carry, persists locally.

Can I restore my balance?

Yes, if your idle balance is below 10, you may manually restore it to exactly 1,000. Fractional change is preserved during this process.
